Herter

Full pattern width - 30" wide

Passion Flower features a repeating pattern of stylized yellow flowers with star-shaped centers and green leaves on a geometric olive background, inspired by the Aesthetic Movement—perfect for set design in the elegant Herter Brothers’ style.

Pattern detail

One of the leading champions of Aestheticism in 19th century America was Christian Herter, the proprietor of the Herter Bros. decorating firm in New York City. Christian directed an armada of over 600 designers and craftsmen as he undertook commissions for the mansions of such Gilded Age millionaires such as Vanderbilt, Morgan, Gould, Crocker and Stanford. Our wallpaper suite is an homage to the decorative Herter Bros. style. This sample kit includes all seven samples for easy, one-click shopping.

Herter Sample Kit

Passion Flower wallpaper features an ornate Victorian floral pattern on a tan background above, with a geometric blue, gold, and red floral motif below, separated by a horizontal border—evoking Herter Brothers' historic set designs.
