Yes, we ship our wallpaper to our customers worldwide from our printer in Sweden. If you are an EU or UK customer you may see applicable VAT charges. US customers may be responsible for tariffs.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Wipe spills gently with a clean, damp cloth or sponge as soon as they occur. Avoid excessive rubbing to protect the fibers. Do not use abrasive tools or harsh cleaning agents to preserve the finish.

High humidity environments or those susceptible to water splashes, such as near a sink or shower, are not recommended. However a well-ventilated room, along with proper surface preparation, may yield good results. You may also want to apply a clear surface sealant over the wallpaper. A professional resource we have used to seal wallpaper before installing is ProSeal Plus.

The US rating is Class A. The EU ISO EN 13501-1 classification is C-s1,d0.

Our uncoated non-woven wallpaper is paper-based with a matte finish. It is free of glass fibers, plasticizers and solvents. It is PVC-free, FSC Mix certified, with a Blue Wool Rating of 8. Because we print with GreenGuard certified inks it is REACH compliant and can safely be used in nurseries, schools, hotels and hospitals.

PRINTING & PATTERNS

We do not currently have the option to print with metallic inks. If that changes in the future we will reincorporate that option into our patterns again.

Along with handprinting we have also been printing digitally for over 25 years. However, due to changes in regulations and insurance we made the difficult decision to close our handprint division. Digital printing has always allowed us to go beyond the limits of silkscreen printing. We can now incorporate more colors, textures, fine details and longer pattern repeats. Our new method is solvent-free, making it more eco-friendly and sustainable in the long run.

No, Steve and Lisa Bauer still own and run the company as they have for the past twenty years.  Steve began working for Bruce Bradbury over 40 years ago as a young design apprentice and continues to design patterns as the Artistic Director.

Due to the transition in our printing process time is required to convert, and often refine, patterns for digital printing. Many of the patterns you are familiar with will be returning in the near future. If there is a specific pattern you are looking for please Contact Us

Well, not exactly. Many of the patterns that start in the public domain are cleaned up and further adapted to become unique Bradbury patterns (we will even add certain design elements to identify them as our own work). Hundreds of hours can be spent to recreate one pattern! These unique versions are then copyrighted by Bradbury. We also design “in the style of” certain periods and historical designers. Because of our skilled practice at this our work has been copied by some who have assumed it was an old work of art, and in the public domain, without realizing it is an original Bradbury design. If you are interested in a pattern we urge you to inquire first.
