We were thrilled to see an entry into the 2009 Apartment Therapy House Tour that featured some gorgeous photos of one of our Art Deco wallpapers “Zenith“, in Golden Olive. The apartment is the home of Filmmaker Jeremy Kasten and its located in one of Los Angeles’ most beautiful Deco-era structures, the historic Eastern Columbia Building. The turquoise terra cotta building, built in 1930, recently received a multi-million dollar “makeover” in 2006 and now contains some of Los Angeles’ most desirable urban living spaces.
Kasten used the paper at wainscot level around the main living space capping it with a dark rail and that, combined with the dark baseboard, all makes for a very rich effect. The photos really show off the reflective papers and coupled with all of Kasten’s artifacts and collectibles it makes for one really beautiful environment. The photography from the post is the work of Jason Redmond.
And how about this amazing floor lamp with the integrated clock!
